Professional Engineering & Manufacturing Disclaimer

The calculations, mathematical formulations, baseline cutting speeds (SFM), bend allowances, and tap drill dimensions provided on FabLogic.org are intended strictly for educational, reference, and planning purposes.

Manufacturing processes involve real-world variables beyond the scope of theoretical models, including machine tool rigidity, spindle taper condition, toolholder runout, workholding stability, specific alloy heat treat variance, and press brake deflection.

Always conduct test cuts, verify press brake bend deductions on material test coupons, and adhere to structural welding procedure specifications (WPS) verified by qualified engineering personnel prior to critical or serial production.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or utilizing any part of FabLogic.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, your sole remedy is to cease using the platform.

2. Open Access & Permitted Use

FabLogic provides free, open-access computational utilities to engineers, machinists, fabricators, and students worldwide. You are granted a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use the calculations and tables for personal, educational, commercial shop floor, and industrial manufacturing workflows.

3. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall the FabLogic Working Group, its authors, or contributors be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including but not limited to tool breakage, machine collision, scrapped raw material, personal injury, structural weld failure, or production downtime—arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use this service.

4. Standards & Third-Party Trademarks
